I have often accurately referred to the GIBBO robots as craven cowards, because they seem to LOVE popping their honours, often very stupidly.

Well, here is ONE robot from the GIBBO clan (West on this hand) who is definitely NOT a coward. I applaud him for his bravery, but - TYPICALLY - he has chosen the WRONG time to show it!

Note that at trick two, when I, declaring from the South hand, lead my club 8 towards dummy's QJ1095, West courageously plays his FOUR of clubs from K4 doubleton. I WIN the trick with my 8, and then at trick three I cash my ace, dropping West's now-stiff king.

I actually feel sorry for the poor guy! Unlike every other GIBBO robot (and most politicians from a certain party), he actually showed some spine ! Unfortunately his bravery happened to cost him on THIS random layout. But I think this is the one and ONLY GIBBO robot who might actually have a future as a decent bridge player!
