Two spades?

Make the clubs longer, and the diamonds shorter, you still could argue, that this is a limit raise
or a constructive raise. Maybe replace the King of hearts with QT, but than it still is only 50%.

Two spades?

1♠-2♠-4♠

in a system where 2♠ is constructive and playing 2/1 (we would bid 2♦ with the magic hand, so absolutely no reason to invite).

What should 1S 2S 4C look like?

More spades and a realistic possibility of making 6

the hand I quoted is not silly, KJxxxxxx, Axx, AQ - ♠Axx and a red king required, if that's ♦Kx, unlucky, if it's ♥Kxx(x) you might need a diamond hook unless partner has ♦Jxx

Sarcasm?

He probably quoted Gemini, which spouts similar nonsense about bridge

I bid 4H. And if partner signs off with 4S, I bid 5S. Unfortunately, that bidding sequence is also consistent with AQx x QJxxxx xxx but oh well.

Your partner unfortunately has no hand building skills. If they are up for discussing this hand, you need to ask them what hand you could have that would make slam good. They might never have thought to think that way before.

It's worthy of note that 4H should still wake up partner if he has unrealistic dreams of slam. Now he knows we are missing diamonds king, as well as very probably an Ace given the 2S response.

Game try before slam try or does 4♣ show a void?

In what bizarre universe is 4C a game try? Please explain which part score you intend to reach if you don’t like his ‘game try’?

6S:
When I make an underbid with what I consider the bottom holding of a limit raise I tend to accept any slam invitation.
PS: Splinter on that hand is ridiculous in this auction. One simply has to ask, what's the point of it?

<snip>

We didn't open 2♣ or make an advanced cue on our way to game. Make the club king a diamond and I am going to bid this way,
1S 2S 4S is the maximum for the hand, "I hope to make it".
What should 1S 2S 4C look like?

Given the limitation of 6-10, opener requires. 2 specific cards, that slam has a reasonable chance.
As it is, responder has 3 useful cards, AQ in trumps is req. for sure, and given the club shortage,
the King of hearts will also be handy. But even with basically all the strength spend on top cards,
slam is rotten.

Move the King of clubs towards hearts or diamonds, and you have a hand. Because than a useful king
with responder will pull his full weight.
