So clearly 2S is 4SF

If you search Google for 'fourth suit forcing', every single definition defines it as being by responder on their 2nd bid. So however you want to define 2♠ here, it is clearly not 4SF.

Sigh

Again

Do you think 2S is forcing?
If you want to pass 2S, good luck

Spades was the fourth suit

I don't care if Google can't count

Again for third time
The only disagreement is forcing to what...

Anyway I choose an imperfect 2H for the reason I stated.

Of course it can be

How can it be gf after we have both made earlier non forcing bids?
We can continue to game but we are not forced.

I'm swearing at my stupidity, 2♠ is fourth suit but it can't be gf after 1♦ 1♥ 2♣

I think you meant after 1♦ 1♥ 2♣ 2♦.
In which case I agree.
Opener has limited his hand to at most 17, Responder has tried to sign-off cheaply, no real fit is known, how can Opener decide to game force and what benefit does it have over a simple stopper ask forcing once?

Given my style of opening all hands 1nt within the nt range, I think you can be sure 1♦ 1♥ 2♣ is a flat 11-14 lacking a spade stopper.

It can be, but it shouldn't. 1d-2c shows no extras, so 2s should be F1 in diamonds.
Playing xyz 2d from responder is GF, which is not the case here, i bet. Hence XYZ cannot stop in 2d, preference must bid 3.
1nt opening is favorable imho. Wouldn't even worry about a pass.
To each their own :)

Exactly, as we all said.

This was never an XYZ situation.
