I opened 1 club and the opponents end up in two spades so it's my robot partner's lead. He leads the 2 of clubs and since I can see all the clubs except the 3 and the Q and I have AKJ xxx I have to assume it's either a singleton or Q2 so I lead a small club and he plays the 3! Don't the robots play the normal high low for a doubleton?

The GIBBO robots are hopeless "defenders" whose plays can rarely be trusted. It very often looks as if they treat all spot cards as interchangeable equals and play them randomly. It's not surprising, therefore, that they are among the worst "defenders" in the history of bridge.
