I like my hand for playing in hearts, rather less a possible 3541 dummy, as akwoo points out.
3H is fine and already a positive move, let's see what he has to say now.

4H would be undisciplined unless a terrible hand with a weak H fit and full of black values

I played a similar series for several years and wouldn't recommend it even to I/A. I can live quite comfortably with just one super accept, although we actually play two in hearts (4 card and 3 card).

What could be more simple?
North (6 year veteran) announced 2♦ as hearts.
South (mentee) looked horrified and started to take bidding cards off the table
North said. "you have to leave it now".

A reply for the other forum, but I think the ruling is not completely simple.
Maybe we do not need to poll to establish that 4♥ in a 9 card fit with minimum and two diamonds ruffs in hand was an LA to 3NT, but we do need to evaluate how well they would both have scored.
We also have to decide whether to penalize North for betraying his role as mentor, not calling the Director immediately and then waiting until he could more subtly take advantage of UI (for me it is automatic, but many tell me I hear a different drum).

Back in the day, the club I played in when not at the university didn't use bidding boxes, because they were "too complicated". And because South at table 2 couldn't hear the auction at table 3 so he could preempt on AKTxx (and not on KQJ8xxx, when it was wrong), and because it was impossible to tell the difference between a takeout double and a penalty double (*).
But mostly because there were so many auctions that went 1NT-2 diamonds ("Transfer"); 2 hearts-3 diamonds; pass that one of my partners and I (it might even have been Korbel, but I think it was Jared) changed our system over 1NT so that 2NT was "GF, hearts and diamonds", and 2♦ was "hearts OR diamonds". And when people asked about the Alert of 2 diamonds, and especially if they asked how that was playable (or whatever), we'd just comment on how well it seems to work at this club by everybody who didn't Alert it...
(*) My colleague does talk about the one player who called the director to say she needed a D card. When shown the double cards in the box, she explained that no, that's an X card, that's for takeout. I need the card that says D so I can double for penalty.

So that's what the 'Director' card was for.
I tried waving it to call TD but nothing happened.
It disappeared the next year.

When the error occurred, it was apparent North understood the laws, based on his comment — you can't change that now. We didn't realize at the time that he hadn't read as far as Law 16.
It's not really a nice club game — there's a fair bit of these shenanigans going on.
Yes, I've seen the Director cards — I thought these were a single-use card; I seldom see them now.
