My preferred meaning playing a version of Transfer Lebensohl is GI with 4 or 5 or both. With both I may be GF

Edit:: should have included 4s44 GF

T/O

Keep it simple.

The hands that go via T/O are usually balanced,
if you have a long suit, or a 2-suited hand,
that does not want to defend, you will use a
lebensohl variant.
But to find a 4-4 and to get them from time to time,
you will use the good old T/O.

Obviouly, if your NT range is lower, than penalty may
get more attractive, but if your NT range goes down,
this that the expected strength for the responding hand
goes up.
With kind regards
Uwe Gebhardt (P_Marlowe)

Take out. Always, but even more so when playing weak NT.

Takeout with a doubleton in bid suit so can be converted for penalties.
Sarcasm is a state of mind
