Typically, the GIBBO jackass in the East REFUSES to continue his "PARTNER'S" suit at trick two. These pieces of trash are not only the worst "bridge players" of all time; they are also the worst "partners" of all time. They completely rot in every possible way. They are an embarrassment to bridge.

BTW, note that when the dirtbag shifts, he's too STUPID to even switch to the CORRECT diamond! Why are these useless slimeballs still TARNISHING BBO by their very presence, when in 2026 DECENT robots DO exist...elsewhere?!!!

I.D.I.O.T.S. On Parade...as USUAL when the repulsive GIBBO robots are present.

North CUEBIDS (!) 4H...PROMISING (!) the ace of hearts...which he does NOT have. Oh yeah, positively BRILLIANT to LIE (!) to your PARTNER (!) in a potential slam auction.

Then when South merely bids 4S, North continues with Blackwood. Well, if he WANTED to Blackwood, he could have DONE SO immediately over South\s THREE spade call...WITHOUT first telling the absurd LIE about having the heart ace.

Because these hopeless GIBBO slimeballs are so OFTEN lucky, the ignorant warthog survived his pathetic auction, just as the GIBBO trout in the West was not harmed by HIS imbecilic lead of a CLUB of all things (declarer's first suit!) INTO declarer.

ANY time the GIBBO trashcans get ANYTHING other than one of their famous complete ZEROES, it was probably ONLY because they were lucky. They are the most hideous "bridge players" in history, and they do nothing but stink.

Regardless of result and regardless of random layout, and looking ONLY at their OWN hands, we see a STUPID decision by hand hog West to bid 4S rather than 4H, and a STUPID lead by North.

They are both GIBBO robots, so...what ELSE is new?

GIBBO robot suck pumice.

Mind-blowingly stupid lead from the worthless piece of GIBBO garbage in the West. No surprise at ALL. What WOULD be a surprise is if one of these GIBBO toadstools ever made an INTELLIGENT lead.

East leads the jack of hearts from J2 dub against North's 3NT. A ludicrous lead choice, as we would ALWAYS expect from a useless, hopeless, piece of trash GIBBO robot.

At trick two, West wins his offside king of diamonds. At trick three, he cashes his ace of spades (the suit his "partner" East had bid). Bravo. But when East encourages (!) with the FIVE of spades, West...of COURSE...does NOT continue. Perverse and illogical as these disgusting GIBBO twits are, West probably WOULD have continued spades if East had DISCOURAGED!

But...West, at trick four, instead plays a...HEART! Why in the WORLD would he play a HEART? Given that HE has the TEN and his "partner" earlier led the JACK, it should be obvious EVEN to a GIBBO piece of dirt that East was born with a doubleton heart.

No, East-West did NOT get a good score on this board.

GIB/GIBBO rots...ALWAYS.

Yes, leads can often involve guesswork. Yes, the success or failure of a lead is often dependent on the random layout of the random hand being played. Yes, there can be a lot of luck involved. Yes, on many hands, "anything" could turn out "right" or "wrong".

But despite all those caveats, I still consider the worthless GIBBO robots to be the worst opening leaders I have ever seen. I must "asterisk" that comment, though, by mentioning that the immediate predecessors of the repulsive GIBBO robots were the even WORSE GIB robots. But for the purposes of identifying the worst and most nauseating leaders of all time, I am grouping the wretched GIBBO robots and the sickening GIB robots together, because they all emerged from the same fetid swamp.

On this board, looking ONLY at the West hand, a spade lead seems CLEAR on the auction. The ignorant and insufferable GIBBO fleabrain, however, stupidly led a CLUB, dummy's KNOWN second suit.

Another example (they are NOT hard to find!) of how hopeless these GIBBO dirtbags are on opening lead:

If North was NOT a passed hand, then his 1NT bid would have been forcing, and would have made sense. His plan would have been to bid hearts at the lowest possible level on his next call, in response to his partner's rebid of whatever. He would thereby be showing either ONLY a doubleton heart OR a hand with perhaps three hearts but very limited values (which, in practice, is what he actually had). This forcing 1NT call would be because he was too "strong" to pass, but too "weak" to overly encourage his partner by immediately raising 1H to 2H.

BUT...North WAS a PASSED hand, so in the antiquated, hopeless, illogical piece of garbage that passes for GIBBO's complete joke of a system, his 1NT call HERE was NOT forcing...which means that it was a (typically) STUPID bid by the ignorant GIBBO twerp. The GIB definition of the M.O.R.O.N.'S. foolish 1NT bid was "2- hearts; 6-11 HCP; 12- total points".

The jerk did NOT have zero to two hearts: He had THREE. Big difference.

The clown did NOT have 6-11 HCP: He had a mere FIVE - one fewer than even his "promised" MINIMUM.

And the vague, useless gibberish about total points is just to be ignored as always, since GIB knows NOTHING about "total" points, as its poorly written, inaccurate, PATHETIC definitions have shown time and time again.

So, North's typically FOOLISH bidding LIED to his "partner", but it was stupid for another reason also. It was, as we said, NON-forcing, so from North's perspective, it might easily have ENDED the auction, in which case the GIBBO dweebs would likely be in the WRONG strain (NT instead of hearts) AND from the WRONG side (the weak North hand, with NO {!!!} stoppers ANYWHERE outside of hearts, rather than the obviously stronger South hand).

It bears constant repeating that GIB/GIBBO is nothing but GARBAGE of the worst, foulest, most odiferous kind imaginable. GIB/GIBBO rots. GIB/GIBBO sucks pumice. GIB/GIBBO is the WORST.

But in spite of that, I hear that the GIBBO robot sitting West, despite being an absolute I.D.I.O.T. like all GIBBO robots, is a nice guy, so maybe someone wants to buy him a Christmas present. Christmas is now less than four full months away, so if anyone wants to shop for a gift for West, I have a suggestion: Buy the poor sap a book on FINESSES, because this hand CLEARLY indicates that he has NEVER learned about them!

Reporter: "Who was defending against South's 1NT contract?"

Witness: "Two GIBBO robots - Johnny Halfwit in the West and Donald J. Dumbo in the East."

Reporter: "In that case, I assume that the 'defence' was WRETCHED, as usual."

Witness: "You nailed it, bro! A total botch job by the GIBBO pieces of trash."

THIS is what happened. NO reason, NO rhyme...just the pure stupidity that we have come to EXPECT from GIBBO robots, the WORST "bridge players" of ALL time.

West wins trick four. On lead at trick five, does he play a SPADE, the suit his "PARTNER" led?

Of COURSE he doesn't. HE'S a (cursed) GIBBO robot, so he HATES to EVER lead or return his "partner's suit.

He shifts to the club queen, pinning dummy's stiff jack, as declarer South helplessly plays his deuce. West, with AK3 of clubs remaining (having earlier PITCHED his 7...which was NOT a good move)...NEEDLESSLY (and, it goes without saying, STUPIDLY)...OVERTAKES with his king.

"I'll show him," says West through gritted teeth, "So the piece of dirt won't continue spades, eh? Well, I will! Take a good look at THIS, Dumbo - that is, if you can see through all that makeup you're wearing!"

And with that, Halfwit throws his spade 8 right into the centre of the green baize.

Declarer wins dummy's queen, as the OTHER dummy (the one with all the makeup - Dumbo) follows with the three.

Declarer then takes a diamond hook, losing to Halfwit's offside king.

BIZARRELY (what else would you expect?), Halfwit, who was SO eager earlier to needlessly and stupidly overtake Dumbo's club queen to shift BACK to spades, NOW abandons (!) spades and decides to cash his club ACE! No, even the other nauseating GIBBO prunes do NOT refer to Halfwit as "Mr. Consistency".

Halfwit then plays ANOTHER club, and declarer South WINS his 10, which has MAGICALLY become the highest remaining club thanks to the two "magicians" Halfwit and Dumbo!

But the fun, incredibly, STILL isn't over. It gets EVEN better! Having won (!) his club ten (!) at trick nine, declarer South now plays his heart 6 to dummy's 7, as the two EW imbeciles both pitch.

At trick eleven, declarer cashes dummy's spade king...SQUEEZING EAST (!!!) in clubs and diamonds! It doesn't matter what East does - South will take all the remaining tricks. But Dumbo in the East finds the PERFECT pitch to add even MORE humour to this story: He throws his high 8 of clubs. Declarer then, naturally, throws his diamond deuce and takes the last two tricks with the ace of diamonds and the FIVE OF CLUBS!

Note that the combined NS club holdings from the start of the hand were a stiff jack in North and 10652 in South. Note that a pair of raw beginners sitting East-West could have taken FOUR (!) club tricks on defence, but Halfwit and Dumbo managed to take only two. Even MORE amusingly, NS scored TWO (!!!) CLUB (!) tricks with stiff jack opposite 10652!

SOMEONE needs to write a book about the foibles of the execrable, hopeless, witless, worthless GIB/GIBBO piece of trash robots! The problem is that such a "book" would probably need to be about a thousand VOLUMES long! Yes, you read correctly: A thousand VOLUMES, not MERELY a thousand PAGES!

GIB/GIBBO robots are the worst, most disgusting "bridge players" of all time...but to be fair, they are also without a doubt the FUNNIEST!

Frequent contributor OMARHEUM has sent another hand showcasing the monumental stupidity of the always sickening, always disgusting GIBBO robots. He writes "West doubles 3C for penalties, as per the GIB definition, scaring North into an unnecessary 'rescue' to 3S, and then West does not double FOUR (!) clubs."

My comments:

A typically complete lack of logic by the typically M.O.R.O.N.I.C. GIBBO robot in the West. The perennial loser presumably expected to beat THREE clubs, since he...doubled it for penalties (!), yet he later presumably DIDN'T expect to beat FOUR clubs (!!!), since he PASSED that! Does the imbecile not even realize that he needs one FEWER trick to beat four than to beat three? Can he be THAT stupid? Sorry, silly question. We all know that there is no limit to the stupidity of these GIBBO nincompoops.

Note, VERY comically, that West doubled a contract that he could NOT beat (at least on the woeful robotic "defence" that took place), but did NOT double the one that he COULD - and DID beat. I believe the scientific term for GIBBO "thinking" and "logic" is...bass-ackwards.

Then, notice the STUPID spade lead by East. Just in the abstract, and forgetting about anything other than the auction, considering that North...ran to spades (!!!), maybe a SPADE lead is not the wisest choice!

Let's also look at some of the typically pathetic, reprehensible GIB definitions:

1H: The first three words are "Major-suit opening". Is that useless, annoying, insulting beginning REALLY necessary? Why did someone somewhere waste his time writing such complete garbage when he could have put the time to far better use by sometimes at least writing a decent definition (something we RARELY see in the gigantic body of trash that passes for GIB definitions)?

3C: "Preference - 3+ clubs". Oh, really, GIB? Then WHY does he have only TWO clubs? You know what, GIB: sometimes he might HAVE to take a preference on ONLY a doubleton, so maybe your definition is one MORE poorly-written, poorly thought out, INACCURATE piece of GIB "information". Didn't ANYBODY try to write GOOD definitions? Didn't ANYBODY ever proofread this trash to make sure it made sense?

West's double: Shock of shocks, THIS definition actually starts off well! But then it turns a curve and shows for the Nth time that GIB has no understanding whatsoever of "total" points.

3S: This is a REAL joke! "4+ clubs; 4+ spades; 10+ total points". If he has at LEAST...FOUR (!) CLUBS (!!!), then why the HELL is he RUNNING from 3C doubled? And as for "10+ total points" - WHY, pray tell? He was pretty well FORCED to bid over South's Unusual 2NT, so 3C could have been bid with ZERO points, and 3S is just "running" to what he (mistakenly, of course) thinks will be a safer strain. It has NOTHING to do with points. Did ANYONE actually THINK about what they were writing when they composed this insane definition? Did ANYONE ever bother proofreading the entire hopeless collection of GIB definitions, which in my opinion is the worst body of definitions ever written in any field, not just bridge?

4C: The definition claims that this shows "12-23 total points", which, in and of itself, is so broad that it's entirely useless, but in addition, South's earlier 2NT call was defined as showing "12+ total points" with NO upper limit. What happened? What changed? Why was there no upper limit before, but now it's PINPOINTED (ha, HA!) as being at most EXACTLY 23? Where did this NEW (and still entirely useless!) bit of "information" come from? A magician's hat? A rabbit?

The incompetence of the nauseating GIBBO robots is never-ending. I've posted a LOT of hands in this essential thread that Diana so wisely created, but they are only a small fraction of the ones that I could have posted.

No comment is required on this one, other than "Look at the phenomenally stupid lead made by the GIBBO clown in the West".

Trick seven: The imbecilic GIBBO piece of dirt in the North plays a club instead of a diamond. No surprise AT ALL for a sickening GIBBO robot. The only surprise is when they happen to STUMBLE into doing something right. If there were such a thing as a robot convention, I bet that every other robot "family" on the planet would laugh in the faces of the pond scum known as GIBBO robots.

Appallingly stupid lead of a diamond against 6NT...INTO the DECLARER who initially bid two DIAMONDS over his partner's 1S opening.

Another in the UNENDING parade of wretched GIBBO "defences". This time, Johnny wins his diamond ace at trick two, and then at trick three of COURSE leads another DIAMOND.

East is MARKED for the spade ace from the play to trick one, so why isn't West continuing with the spade 10 at trick two?

Answer: Because he's a GIBBO robot (pronounced "M.O.R.O.N.").

Trick five: West proves that he is not only worthless as a "bridge player" but he is also a craven coward when he panics and cashes the ace of hearts.
