I want to practice bidding with my partner. I know how to setup a practice bidding table, but it would be helpful if I can get deals from any (relatively) big event/championship so that, after we bid, we can compare with how the bidding went by 'good' pairs. Is it possible to do that?

(In the 'deal source', I see options for constraining the points/shape etc; or using any of my saved deals. Not an option for using deals from a tournament like I want. But I may just be dense.)

Thanks, and apologies if this has been asked before!

Your best bet would be to start a table in the Main Bridge Club instead; the deal source there will give you an option to load hands from past tournaments. You'd need to rent robots for the defensive seats, and play through the actual hands (though you could always concede-all immediately); the results from the real tournament will then show up as other tables.

Tio find vugraph deals, click Casual -> Premium Deals and choose "Vugraph deals" (its free). This option will deal sets of 16 boards at your table, from matches played at BBO vugraph.

Alternatively, you can start a table, then click Deal Source and select a vugraph match from the vugraph archives to replay. Here, you can select which match to replay.

You'd probably need to be familiar with the methods of the pairs who have played the matches originally, and if you are using robots as your opponents, the robots will play only their own system which might muddy the waters if your pair plays something vastly different.
