If a challenge expired without opp accepting, do we issue the challenge again? I have a challenge coming due on 3/22

Cancel it now and reissue. Otherwise it may be accepted but expire before you have time to complete it yourself.

Art (K78), be careful, I issued our challenge and I will soon play it. Because we are mutual friends, it can expire before you accept it!

I played it last night, hope you are following this thread!
... and I can prove it with my usual, flawless logic.

barmar - Mkgnao 26-9

http://webutil.bridg...959258&u=mkgnao

Board 6: the Bot switches at barmar's table, which shows the randomness of IMPs challenges. And on board 12, Barmar decided not to invite while I deemed the hand worth a jump to game. The bots ended up defending 2x at his table making, and defending 4 undoubled at my table. :D

Yes, just cancel your challenge first then send again - also contact your opponent. If opponent accepts within the last hour and plays - and if you don't, it is technically your responsibility. Read the rules >>

It's not the switch, it's the pitch. Your East bot pitches the setting trick in clubs.

Our auctions were very different, and my bot knew I had at most 3 hearts, so it could afford to pitch one. Your bot was pseudo-squeezed because it was possible you had 4 hearts.

My auction gave West a chance to double to show more values, which made East think that the bad trump break would kill me.

it's just the BBO forums, you don't need to go through the BBO client every time to come here. Bookmark this thread and you're done.

But also the administrators have asked you many, many times to put the result and the link, not just the link here.

I'm still waiting for ArtK78. Should we avoid pairing mutual friends maybe? Or do I need to unfriend everyone in the tournament? :P

I cannot play on Friday or Saturday, which is why I challenged Art yesterday (Tuesday) and played the boards then too.

I see though that Art never posts here, so what can I do other than post in this thread to warn him before I challenge and play? I know the challenge is not lost yet, I'm just curious what correct procedure is.
