I have a monster, and should have bid 4♦ on the previous round. However, things may have turned out for the best, since I can catch up with 4♥ now.

Slam is possible and game highly likely.

The double of 3 ♥ from partner would have been penalties. I am not sure what a double here is, I doubt the partnership would have discussed it.

With the explanations, partner has an approximate 15-16 count (the 2♥ bidder has enough to stand the double), maybe Axx, Qx, AKQ10xxx, J, he also passed over 3♥ so slam is very unlikely and game fairly unlikely.

That was merely an illustration, it must be something like 15-16 with 6-7 diamonds and 0-1 clubs maybe 2 smallish.
