This is in the wrong section since it merely requires a knowledge of how to show a doubleton and a basic understanding of when it is safe to falsecard. Playing the ten 100% of the time on hand one is enough to protect partner's Kx on hand 2 when you need him to duck.
The "sometimes" on hand two is for hands where you have the contract beaten without the risk of a duck.
And you still haven't told us if partner held the queen of hearts.

If you are only interested in the duck-or-win point, then there's a very easy rule in all these positions: you give true count from your small cards.
