is there a way to work in some system bid
that GIB can ask for aces, all 16 GIBs EW bid 7♥ on this hand.

and with 11hcp opp 20-21 and no super accept why would it try for a grand in the first place?
GIB W must have fallen in love with those 10,9,8,7's

East shouldn't be allowed to bid 7h on this auction, ever. It should only allow bid 6h, or 6nt if no heart fit/no ruffing value. 5nt should be defined as "choice of slams".

For ace asking auction, have to start with texas transfer (but that's presumptuous with only a 5 cd suit and no assurance of fit), or Gerber (which gives up on hearts).

Agreed, since West is a passed hand.
