I believe that it shows only 5 Spades and I am not sure of what the meaning should be.

The easiest thing is for 4C to show a club suit. Opener, now bids 4S with a spade fit for the supposed 5-bagger; then, if responder wants to continue, he continues.
With 4+club support, opener will bid a red suit control. With 2-3 in the black suits, opener will bid 4NT.
With 4+club support, opener will bid a red suit control. With 2-3 in the black suits, opener will bid 4NT.

Clubs. Opener has only shown 5 spades.
This is what I play with all current partners, and I'd expect other treatments are abnormal and require discussion.

Clubs is pretty obvious, and I agree with Dickie that it is the only standard meaning.

I agree with this scheme, with one small addition. Opener, with a maximum non-pre-accept with a good spade fit,
will cue bid a red suit, ostentively agreeing clubs, and later convert back to spades. (I cannot remember
where I learned this, but it is not a original thought.)

We used to do that on occasion (agree the minor, then convert later). We abandoned that idea when she had a wonderful sequence --able to count thirteen tricks in clubs based on knowledge that I held AX doubleton in spades. Then I converted with AXX, and we had no prayer.
