3♣ on a normal day. On a day that blood needs to be drawn 1NT
"Genius has its own limitations, however stupidity has no such boundaries!"
"It's only when a mosquito lands on your testicles that you realize there is always a way to solve problems without using violence!"
"Well to be perfectly honest, in my humble opinion, of course without offending anyone who thinks differently from my point of view, but also by looking into this matter in a different perspective and without being condemning of one's view's and by trying to make it objectified, and by considering each and every one's valid opinion, I honestly believe that I completely forgot what I was going to say."

3♣, none said they have game......
Yehudit Hasin
"But I don't want to go among mad people," Alice remarked.
"Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad."
"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here."

4♣. Make them guess.
... that would still not be conclusive proof, before someone wants to explain that to me as well as if I was a 5 year-old. - gwnn

On the actual hand it did not make a great deal of difference what you bid (unless you selected five clubs, which is -500) as the opponents will bid to four hearts and go down unless they divine your singleton king of hearts.
My partner bid 3♣, I said I thought 4♣ was better and my wife said it was between 2♣ and 5♣. I didn't expect to see any two clubs bidders but was interested in the distribution of the rest.

2 rates to have little to accomplish. Fit not even for walking the dog.
3 looks normal.
4 is pushy, but normal if you need action.
5 is just wrong. High preempts on 10 hcp and a passed pard are an invitation to being dbled vs nothing. Speaking out of experience here.

I would just bid 3C, I'm worried by how much defense I have, it would be sad to go for a number when they can't make game, or just to go minus instead of plus. If my stiff K was stiff 2 I would bid 4C.

5C is horrible.
I don't really like 4 either, too much defence.
I'd probably bid 3C, but I don't mind 2C.
