Scoring: IMP

(1) x (1) ?

Partner does not double on the same crap y'all do - she is a pretty sound doubler.
What is your call/plan?

2, not worrying that it's an underbid since I'm quite sure I'll get another chance and bid hearts next at a higher level.
Please let me know about any questions or interest or bug reports about GIB.

This is the nicest way to start a post. Attacking whoever will answer.

2 does look fine, planning to introduce hearts next.

Also, he rates to not have a heart void when he leads the 3.

Besides playing for fun, most people also like to play bridge to win

Not offended in the least by the "crap" that we double on because I believe that a large part of the bridge population (wrongly) feels this way and I will continue to collect good boards for competing.

I agree with josh lets show our shape and I can't imagine a case where 2 is passed out.
All IMO. Junior wanting to soak up all the knowledge he can.

2, later. If you want to hear about doubling on crap... Ask Wayne about his partner! ;)
Yay for the "Ignored Users" feature!

I figured they were going to bid a lot of clubs, so I bid 2, planning on diamonds next, which was probably a poor plan.

The bidding continued with a support double on my left and partner jumping to 4, ending the auction.

Partner had: AKx JTxx AKQx xx.

So, 6 is decent, but there is a diamond ruff threat (not relevant on this hand as LHO has the void and heart ace), but 6 is quite good.
