double or overcall?

Double. If this were a 1♦ opening, I would bid 1♠, hoping to get a second chance to show the other suits if needed. But over 2♦ I want to show everything right away.
The hand is lighter than I normally would have for a direct action over a preempt, but the shape of the hand warrants an action.

Double for me too... Although I have a 5th♠, if I bid 2♠, chances are that the ♥ suit will be lost.
Yay for the "Ignored Users" feature!

I prefer 2S, suit quality etc.
and the result can be plotted on a graph.

See comment below. I reacted before I realized I had no clue what Nuno just said.

Double and pass 3 clubs??
You don't want to lose the heart suit, now you are losing the spade suit!!

2S. If I don't bid spades now, we could lose the spade suit. If I dbl first and then bid spades, in many partnerships that shows a strong onesuiter too big to overcall (while also not too shapely to hate defending in case for some reason partner decided to defend 2DX) and this hand isn't it.
