I was on lead against the opponents' freely-bid 6NT with A-K in one suit, A in a second suit, and a good lead from K-Q in a third suit.

This reminds me of a time my partner put me in 7NT off the A and I made it... The lady on lead had it, and didn't double and didn't lead it. LOL!

I remember when I was young seeing a family member get a 28 point hand. I was super impressed, because according to Scheinwold, it was too strong to open 3NT!

Last Friday, I'm playing rubber bridge with family partnered with the same family member of the famous 28 point hand, when said family member opens: "oh ****"

AKQJ
AKQJ7
K6
AK

30 HCP.

6 was duly made. Dummy (me) had Txx which was all that was needed on the A lead (trumps split 3-2, not that it mattered)
Still decidedly intermediate - don't take my guesses as authoritative.

On BBO in the last eight years I've held one zero loser hand, one ten bagger (not goulash), and one 29 pounder.

I might have posted these here, I don't know.
Hi y'all!

About 6 years back, when I was just starting to play at the club a lot, I picked up:

---
x
x
KJT98765432

Yes, there are 11 clubs there. Effectively balanced.

I eventually drove to slam opposite partner's opening and jump shift. Partner held:

AQxx
AKxxx
AJTx
---

Well... AQ were offside, and the person had the nerve to double... What a miserable way to get a zero.
