Playing with myself, 4 would be more than enough.

Playing with a solid partner, I would try 5.

What i mean is, that your agreements about what a 2 opening looks like, will influence the choice.

If I have a method to ask for spades and later insist in Diamond, I chose this.
Else, I will try to set up diamonds as trumps, ask about KCs and play 5 6 or 7 Diamonds, depending on partners answer.
