I hope

that the software can include a clock for the TD so when we need to know how many min left ..we do not have to join a table to know

that the call director message not to be a pop up window ..and a red light or any colour cld flash with sound on the player name who wants a director.. sure will be better than these jumping pops

I wish td can romove stuck subs in sub list. a player have to waste several mins to get a partner because of stuck subs. sometimes only one or two stuck subs (maybe subbed out if tourney) in list,.... So hope I can remove them...

to mcbruce...
well this is maybe option if i do not own young parrot who do tele, emergency cars, sparrows, cricket and other sounds he hear frequently. i force to turn off sound in bbo when i realize he is making all of sounds we here in bbo. tee hee this is why i ask for simple clock.

to zibuyu...
yes it is annoying and very frustrating so here is my short term solution.
when i see "lurking subs" - ones who do not answer or refuse to accept sub duty then i manually sub this people in and sub they right back out again. often it is interesting to note they sign right back up. <throws hands up> i no idea what this people is waiting for but i wish they maybe im td privately and say "if Fred needs sub call me" tee hee instead of sitting doing nothing for round after round.

I wish we auto thing who automatically remove name from list after x number refusals or invites to sub who go unanswer.
Gweny :-)

1 - A Director controlled delay between players being seated at their tables and the players being able to see the first hand.   This would be used for the Director to give instructions.

5 - A time clock at the table level

6 - A way to tell which tables are behind without table hopping - say a blinking table #

7 - An adjustment request button at the table which requires the player to fill in the pertinent information to be communicated with the adjustment request, i.e. Table #, Board #, etc....

A big Thank You to Fred, Sherry and especially Uday for all the conveniences you have already provided to the TD's!

:o :o
I'm a super-rookie as TD, but during the first tournaments I directed, I had some of your wishes too:

ad 1) This delay would be very nice; perhaps also a delay after the last hand is played to allow adjustments of the last boards before scoring.

ad 5) would be very fine :o

ad 6) I urgently call for

An additional wish: To manage a adjustment seems me uncomfortable. I would like to do the adj directly in the movie. Or is this unrealistic because of the difficulty programming it?:o

Big thanks all, who support us rookie-TD (Uday, Gweny .......):o

You can configure nthclock to silently open a dialog box when an alarm goes off. No need to add a sound to it. (Not only that, you have unlimited alarms, which has saved me from my continuing overdue-fine donations to the construction costs for the public library's new wing...)

From member of "SQUEEKY WHEEL CHORUS" to "GREAT PROGRAMMER":

Oh please sir, a round clock for the TD so the TD doesn't have to visit table to check remaining time.

TD calls that are not a Pop-Up (save the player's explanation to display - or even Pop-up - at the table when TD arrives there). Blinking table is nice idea since table can either blink or not blink thus eliminating the possibility of multiple calls - HURRAY!

Elimination of non-responsive or declining Subs. Death by boiling oil to those who are waiting for that one particular partner to need a sub.

BIG SMOOCHES to "GREAT PROGRAMMER" for all other gifts to TD's!

Frosty ;)

More TD wishes:

Think the experienced TD should sit together and make a wish list and set priorities.
:) UDAY can't do all this at once of any.

Perhaps a poll will do it also. ;)

tx a lot uday, u are great!!

i love the timereminder.. now we dont have to go to a table to look how much time is left!
Also, i noticed we see the explainings in the alerts in the movie now and that is very helpful!!

Well for me this whislist is almost completely done now.. the only thing i really wd appreciate is if a director call didnt interrupt my doings.. but further i am out of wishes!!! Tx!!
