We're ***** and we know we are.

We are a two man team and one of them is injured. How crap is that?

We're not really all that *****. We're just not as good as Australia.

As a comparison, lok at the way Federer beat Roddick in the semi-final the other day. There is no way that Roddick is a ***** tennis player, he just can't compete with Federer (and few if any can).

It is clear that at the moment they are a psychologically defeated team (since the second innings in Adelaide probably) and they can't wait for the tour to be over. But next season they should be competing on at least equal terms with the other non-Australian test teams.

A truly pathetic performance by the Australian bowlers.

New Zealand managed to get 317 this morning.

I've cancelled my sky sports subscription as a result. I only had it to watch the cricket.

I think it was 318. Anyway, England saved a bonus point; what more can you ask for from a non-existent team?

OK, we are a 3 man team, one of them is injured, one of them is playing like a muppet, and the other is Monty Panesar.

But we are still shite.

Worse as they've stopped covering it and Platini, being French and trying to reduce the number of teams in the Champions League, is a much easier target for the next week.

Then the Six Nations starts and I'll need to decide whether I'm English or Scottish for the tournament. Decision next Saturday at 6pm!

I'll start discussing cricket again when we have a team.

Oi, Gipson, NOOOOOO!!!! Make your call now like a proper supporter! To think you would even start to consider yourself a Sweaty is sending chills up my spine.

Anyway, now Jonny is back, we will be kicking their backsides - at least until he is injured again. I give it 23 minutes.

Oh dear. I was actually hoping England didn't get to the final of this stupid tournament. They need a rest more than they need 2 more hammerings.

Don't worry, they won't get to the final. Everyone's entitled to a lucky strike.

It now seems time for a delusional one-victory-does-make-a-summer post. After all, given the sh1te I've had to put up with over the last couple of months, it seems foolish not to completely over-indulge the moment and play it up for far more than it is actually worth. Here goes then:

COME ON THE MIGHTY ENG-ER-LAND!!! World Cup Glory is surely only just around the corner. Who can stop us now? Certainly not the convicts!! And we still have the mighty KP to come back in and newfound King Of The Swingers Jimmy A too! ITs all over, none of you should even bother turning up.

Nurse...

Even if NZ had won, England could still have qualified with a bonus-point victory. As it is now, just a straghtforward (no, that word shouldn't exist when discussing England) one will suffice.

Today was a bit of a surprise. I had a bet with my husband that only two of the finals games would be required. I suppose I can still win!
