Lots of room for improvement
Besides maintaining focus, two things I am working on, don't hide your support and stop, and pause , slow down when I am on lead to the last two tricks

Feeling better, however not sleeping well, but that was no excuse yesterday.
Friday the attendance looked 50% down from previous days. Played teams, new teammates from the partnership desk. Played a lot of pro teams, finished a bit below average. All the matches were very close. Half the boards would be pushes. We would come back and compare and the rest seemed different contracts ... or play. Hard to tell since we just compared boards and moved on to the next match, no time to discuss what the heck happened. Not enjoyable, takes much of the fun out.
Today, same teammates, playing in something called round robin teams, whatever that is...
Will post one hand from yesterday.

Unfortunately my partner is quite upset with my errors, errors in judgement. Just wish he has the discussion in private, not over the table and over with our teammates..
Forum may have gotten these correct.. I didn't.
One on defense one in the bidding, we won one imp but should have won many more.
Will post later

Forum gets almost everything correct after half an hour of thought and seeing both hands

More judgment errors, especially on defense.
Example: last bd of the match probably cost us first
5Dx by opponents.
I had to decide is declarer 3-3-7-0 or 3-2-7-1
570 vs 150 at other table.

Finishing 28th overall for the regional was more a function of attendance and my wonderful partners and teammates. Thank you.
I don't recall one thing I did well. My memory is full of mistakes. Sleepless nights, exhausted bridge . I feel every bit of my seventies, with a CT scan coming Wednesday and my semiannual trip to Duke Medical next week.
Bought a bridge book at the regional, How to be a tough opponent.
Now I need to catch up on my lost movie theater shows, plays and recreational book reading and steaming shows such as Mobland and Tulsa King, etc.
Best memories were watching my partners play, meeting world class players at the table and losing to Weinstein and his great team by only 8 imps. Steve made an impossible game I went down two in. Another team of pros won the Sunday event by a large margin. We played them and only lost by 2 imps. I will call that a good memory.
Ciao
