As the title says. I was kibitzing a board and north left their seat after a bidding mix-up. I decided to occupy it, knowing it would force a re-deal since I'd seen all the hands and I wasn't dummy. But it didn't re-deal.

I then left the seat and someone else took it. Then they DID re-deal, so I can't link to the hand in question.

This looks like a bug in BBO, possibly?

I also experienced the same thing, both as kibber who sat..or at my table a player sat, left and resat in different position. No automatic redeal occurred either time

Maybe it's a random thing - usually you do get a re-deal in these circumstances.

This may be only in the social areas, but still, no-one likes a loophole left for the cheat.

No point me making a fuss though - since I haven't decided whether or not to stay on after S-day!*
