PLEASE BRING BACK THE OLD VERSION. IT WAS JUST FINE. THIS NEW ONE IS IMPOSSIBLE TO NAVIGATE. E.G. i USED TO LOOK IN THE 'FREE' TOURNAMENTS FOR THE ONES THAT CHARGE 10 CENTS AND ALLOW YOU TO BE RESEATED. CANNOT FIND THEM ANYWHERE NOW. I'VE MISSED SIGNING UP FOR TOURNAMENTS THESE PAST FEW DAYS. I SPEND A LOT OF BBO $$ BUT WILL NOT BE DOING THAT UNTIL THE OLD VERSION OF TOURNAMENT LISTS COMES BACK. :(

I really dislike this new "improvement." You've actually made it more difficult for me to find the games I'm interested in.

Is your computer set to another time zone than where you actually live? We used to have a bug related to off synch between user's local computer time and their actual time zone, but it should have been resolved.

Give me more details please; you can send me a private message or email diana@bridgebase.com so we can understand why you are seeing the wrong times.

It has righted itself. However, it should not make a difference what my computer's time zone is set to -- unless you are inferring user time zone based on IP address. Hopefully you are using epoch time and having the client figure out how long till a tourney starts.

I like the filtering, but would very much appreciate filtering on point strata; in particular, to show open games only.

The font is impossible for me to read without squinting my eyes. This is horrible. Please bring back the old version if you cannot do better than this.

I agree with that, I'm an older person and I know that a lot of older players play, what you've done is very tiring you have to stare, because the list is very unreadable. Why are you ruining what was good? Do you make players angry? It is difficult to explain it logically.I apologize in advance for any errors, because I use a translator.

Seems like a one or two line change of CSS font styling would placate most of the NIMBBOYers around here. There is plenty of white/grey blank space on the new list to do it.

While you're at it, hows about making the default font size on the forums a little bigger, too!

Please if you make something new please try not to be as awful as this one is. It was on, and it was off with the sigh of releif from the users, now it's back with vengeance. I'll give you a couple of comments in an effort to make the new list bearable:

- first and foremost the filters are silly and useless. You cannot filter out what you do not want. For example, if you go through the BXP button, you have zillion of tournaments shown. First 4 to 5 pages are daylong, then silly ABCL house (maybe there is a reason they are first even though they might be played hours later :)). So, if you want to play a normal tournament a lot of fussing with the mouse is needed. Exclusion filters are a must.

- there are very few fields. Everything is now lumped together in an obnoxious and unreadable string. please make this as a set of fields that can be then searched and sorted upon.

- related to above, once you create useful fields, implement sorting up/down initiated by the click on the heading.

- I saw somebody mentioning the flyover pop-up. That would be a solution for long fields, i.e. tournament name.

- Almost all of the comments here are negative. That should gve you a hint. Why not first select a subgroup of users that are willing to suffer through changes and test on them as opposed to antagonize all user.

- etc, etc, so please it is not difficult to explain what you want to Chat GPT and let it create a usable list. I am willing to give you a description of the functionality/requirements that I am sure would easily be accepted by 90% of users.

All together huh

Absolutely terrible. Fonts are too small and everything is unclear, The old format was so much better. Reading through the comments I haven't seen anyone who congratulates you on the changes. So who did you consult? Obviously not the users!

It would be very helpful to be able to sort the records. I would want to be able to view specifically by time before a tournament is to begin. It is sort of sorted but there are tournaments listed out of time left order. Also would like to see number of entries sorted within a time range.

Today, just now, the list shows all the robot tourneys as about 40-something minutes out. Specifically, I'm about to play 7th Heaven Robot Rebate (55% Reward) #36334 in less than a minute (according to the details when you click on the tourney) and yet it shows 44 mins on the list. Yep, it just started .. new list is wrong. This is a new bug.

New data point: re-loaded page and now tourneys are no longer 40 minutes off in the list times.

Ability to save my filters would be helpful.

A lot of this has already been mentioned, but I'm not sure it all has.

1) There should be a view (and the default or only one imo) that shows a tournament on 1 line.

2) The Filters button should be at the top of the tournament listing (or even the bottom is better than overlaying the listing).

3) A user should be able to set up a default filter (ie. settings that are there the next time the user logs in).

4) There should be a default sort order. I suggest:
1st) tournaments you are already registered for
2nd) Start time (and define active daylongs as always having the same & earliest start time)
3rd) number of people entered (descending)

5) Make click on a table column header cause that property to be the thing sorted on 1st
and/or include control of sort key order in the Filter box.

6) Additional filters
a) Can win bbo$ or not
b) Dont know if it is possible, but Eligible to play vs All would be nice

7) Terminology/Style
a) The use of the term "just play" seems weird to me.
b) "Apply Filters" or just OK seems better to me than "Close Filters"
c) Even tho clicking anywhere on a tournament is straightforward, there should still be text somewhere that says this is how it works
d) I dont like the Filter box having scroll bar. If at all possible, I would use vertical space efficiently enough so that is unnecessary.
e) I think Close, etc should be in the gray area at the bottom, not take up space above that.

For the last few days, this has been showing the start time as at least 19 hours (plus minutes), often 21 or 22 hours, never anything closer, let alone "starting soon". And yes, the clock on my PC is fine, it's something else that's going on.

Once you click on a tournament, the standard display returns, which includes accurate times on when the tournament is starting, but with or without this flaw, the new display is HORRIBLE - no idea why one person's preference is imposed on us all.

The time till start and the number of players on the list consistently lag behind the data you see if you click on the tourney, at least for the robot tourneys. We're talking a couple minutes, and the count presumably lagging by the number of players who have signed up in the time lag period. The web client clearly has the data (or access to it), since in shows it in the details when tourney is clicked. This leads to fewer folks joining the tourney if it is marginally populated. Please make the list reflect the situation -- a simple matter of better coding on the front-end JS client. Again, I'm sure you could get some assistance if you opened up access to the code base to those of us willing to help.
