This is an up to date list of help docs, tools and links when setting up tournaments, team matches and online events on BBO.

Because a change in naming is causing confusion in other thread, know that what were "hacks" are now called "description strings" on that list of tools.

Can we create a tournament just for our bridge community?
And what are the requirements?

Please email tournaments@bridgebase.com with your request and specific details about what you plan to do. Access is granted on a case-by-case basis. Keep in mind that since the pandemic has ended, the criteria for approval have tightened, and it's less likely that requests from regular players to create tournaments will be granted.

However, you can create team matches or group challenges for free and without any restrictions. If you need help setting these up or have any other questions, feel free to reach out to support@bridgebase.com

I have done this way (email to tournaments@bridgebase.com) and it doesn't work, actually we hope to be able to do online training at bbo, btw our bridge community is more than 20 pairs (TeamMatch only 4 pairs), we are forced to only do pairs tournament offline (face to face).

Thanks for the replay.

James

Email again and explain what you need to do. It's possible it was not clear you want this for an offline group trying to practice online. Also, as users gain more seniority on the site, their requests are taken more seriously.
