Hello all again! I thought I'd post this on the forum as I am sure you will be pleased. My friend phoned me at the weekend and said she had played a live bridge session at her club in Patcham, Sussex, England on Friday of last week. Hopefully, my club will re-open soon, too.

However, I did have a smile ( :) ) at the Patcham Friday Pairs' Winners with an impressive score of 75%.

Shh or they will inflict Gib on us for another decade at least B-)

As for the subject, it is certainly alive, but not sure it is well.
Here at least it needs an oxygen mask to reach 4-5 tables and erratic repeat attendance suggests that intensive care may soon be necessary.
Of course the end of summer and perhaps of this year's Covid may well prove that wrong.

My club has run 2 F2F sessions, 4 and 4.5 tables so far.

Two clubs in the Boston area (Newton and Westwood) merged and reopened early in June. I played there on my day off after Independence Day.

Family Friendly Bridge Club reopened at the end of June.

And Winchester DBC is reopening this week, but they've lost their old location, so they're using FFBC's location.
