It would be helpful, in my opinion, to be able to find the BBO IDs of specific individuals (e.g., specific World Class players members may wish to follow) by entering their names. Including a feature to search by ID/name would help.

Search looks into the Real name GIVEN to BBO. (Edit: People -> Search)
There is no guarantee the World Class player(s) you are looking for had attached their real name to their BBO ID. (It should be there if they asked for a star, however this is optative).

Why not an available "Advanced Search" with fields for
ID:_____________________
Real Name: _____________________
Country/Region: _____________________
Other: _____________________
Notes by me: _____________________
Skill level: Private/Novice/Beginner/Intermediate/Advanced/Expert/World Class
Prime Yes/No
Friend/Ignored/Neutral
Compatibility: 1 2 3 4 5 (tho this seems to have been abandoned by BBO)
Personal Convention Cards:_____________________
- CC Partner: _____________________
BBO could even support regular expressions
Does BBO use Soundex for rough matches? https://en.wikipedia...okotoff_Soundex
Ideally, BBI could add fields for languages, too.
