Yes, that's why I blamed GIB. It made the only play on trick 3 that gives you the tempo you need to get rid of the spade loser. On the auction I thought I'd described my hand. Yes, I had really nice trumps and a side ace, but my shape was 7222 with 2 useless doubletons.

Like I said, I only really blamed GIB for one of them. It worked out well for you to feign good trump support by bidding 4♠ instead of 3[NT]; I guess you did that because the auction suggested a potential problem with heart stoppers for NT.
