4H hand
The explanations of bidding didn't seem to match up with results.
As they say "where was the hand you held during the bidding" lol.
Can someone explain what happened? Was mp.

Auction was
(3♣)-4♣-pass-4♦
(pass)-4♥ all pass
missing the 9 card ♠ fit and playing in 5-2 ♥ fit

Obviously another application of the 8 ever, 9 never rule. QED. Never bid a contract with 9 total trumps, ever bid a contract with 8 trumps. In this case, there are 7 trumps in hearts which make the 4♥ even better than bidding with 8 trumps.

LOL - Maybe a takeout double over 3♣ and then bid ♥s over the expected ♦ response?

Who knew that Robots don't play Michaels at higher levels?

Yesterday our bidding went (1♦) 3♦ pass ?
I bid 3NT with ♠: Qxx ♥: void ♦: AKQTx ♣: KTxx and got this dummy:
♠: Axxxx ♥: AQTxxx ♦: J ♣: J

I made 3NT after a club lead, diamond to dummy and spade to the Queen ducked ....
3♦ was strong Michaels?
