Lots of doubles by GIB which made LOL. Haven't reported them since fed up.

Hand 1

Hand 2 sorry, this not a double hand. just wont bid 3c. Instead bids 3H with 2 H

The hand 1 double is absurd.

In hand 2 there are arguments for not bidding 3C, if anything the initial Pass is dubious.

Hand 1 proves Gib has no clue what a penalty doubles is or whatever double it has made.
So Gib has 5 pts (which it doesn't but so what). Gib doesn't need pts to double at the 5 level it needs tricks of which it has none. Gib also has 3 spade support if it were to make a stupid bid it should be 5S.
Anyways partner has a big hand let them decide.

Hand 1 - Excellent negative double. Zero points, no defensive tricks. How much more negative can you get?

Double on the first hand looks obvious to me. Once partner opens 2C we should be in a forcing auction, so all my double says is "I don't think we should bid any higher". It's not unreasonable to expect someone who opens 2C to be able to provide three defensive tricks on their own.

My only objection with double on the first board is that it says that it shows 5+ HCP.
While I would have responded on the second board, having done so it should certainly bid 3C.
