I am not sure if this has been asked before, but when I am kibitzing a table, can I have options like "Kibitz Declarer" or "Kibitz Opening Leader" etc? That way, when I want to concentrate on improving my declarer play/defense, I won't have to keep switching seats with each board.

Thanks.

This has long been a feature of the software. To activate this feature, click on your own name from the main lobby. Look on the bottom of the right hand side of the popup window and find the section labelled "kibitzing"

From thre you can check, kibitz north, south, east, or west. The defuult is kibtiz all. You can also check kibitz partner when dummy so yo will see what your partner sees when he/she is playing the hand.

Yes, I know about that. The option I am speaking about is Kibitz *Declarer*. Board 1, North is declarer. Board 2, West is declarer etc. I don't have to keep switching from North to West, back to North etc.

i think this is a decent suggestion, assuming it's not difficult to code

I tis rather useless to have a kibitz declarer option beccause declearer is not defined until the bidding is over. If you kibitz WEST doing the bidding and south becomes declarer and now you jump to kibitiz him, you know all the hands, since you saw WEST's hand throughout the entire auction and now see south's and the dummies.

Well, If I have the option set, the UI could hide all hands from me, and when the bidding is over I get to see the declarer's and dummy's hands. I get just a few moments to review the bidding, but I am ok with that (I think in most cases there will be plenty time waiting for opening lead). I agree this might not work with improving my bidding, but will definitely help in improving card play.

Anyway, I think it would be useful option to have for people still learning the game.

I really like this idea. An additional advantage would be
that specs who are watching in that mode would be
available as subs (as long as the bidding has not finished).
I usually open with 13 cards

The same problem occurs, when you follow a player through a tournament and only want to see HIS cards. You have to change view seat every time. There should be an opportunity to follow player AND watch only him!

But i want to say something proposing more and more advancements: uday and his staff are making a really good work and any time, they create new features, there is the wish for more. Hard life for them :) !
