It happens very often that someone posts a question in the expert forum which doesn't belong there. If someone thinks that the fact that he has heard about Stayman makes him an expert and that obviously only fellow experts would be interested in discussions about Stayman, it is of course difficult to do anything about it. But sometimes it looks as if some people think that the purpose of the Expert forum is to elicit expert advice for fairly basic problems.
Similar issues affect other forums albeit to a lesser extent.
It surprised me that we don't already have a pinned post in each forum "Read this before posting in this forum" or similar. Of course we can't force everyone to read it, much less adhering to it (unless the forum supports a feature like "zero posting rights until you have read the readme file") but it might help a bit.
Obviously this post doesn't belong in the expert forum either which is a bit paradoxal. Is it "general bbo discussion"?

Unfortunately it seems to be true that people are more likely to get responses from expert players if they post in this forum, since experts will stumble across these threads. Obviously it is impossible and unfair to expect expert players to check all forums for questions they can give a helpful answer to.
Of course some of the questions that have appeared lately in this forum have been shocking. Perhaps it would help a little if experts players refused to answer such posts if they appear here?
