GIB is warned that we're getting a club lead, knows we're off a keycard, has two losers in clubs personally and doesnt bother checking that we aren't losing the first two tricks. Yes I should have a point or two more for 2n, but make a low club the Q of spades and its the same result

Yes, GIB knows it is possible that you're off two top clubs. Care to quantify that probability? He probably ran simulations and determined that the probability of making was sufficiently high to make the bid, lacking the tools to determine otherwise.

Why did Gib even double 5? It will be on lead and partner isn't bidding 6. Just gives info to opponents to stop in 5.
Sarcasm is a state of mind

Well, better system would allow GIB to pass the double and ask whether South can control the suit (something like 5h = no control, xx = CA, 5nt = CK). Then it wouldn't have to go on just simulation and get it right. Also, considering West is going to be on lead, it would be a lot better if it didn't issue warnings to N/S that they have a club problem.

These do seem like relatively low frequency problems compared to other stuff GIB does so it probably should be low on the priority list for fixes.
