When GIB says he has 4 spades and he has only 2, it's a bug.

GIB will make a support double or redouble 100% of the time when it has the necessary 3 card support. Its pass of the double denies 3 cards, regardless of what any other explanation might say. That said it doesn't explain why GIB preferred Spades while holding 4 Hearts, or more to the point why the description of 2H does not mention 4 or more H.

Agreed. But he shouldn't change his mind when he explains his 2 bid.
