Peculiar behaviour in "Movie" traveler "Selection" should move with content

Desired result: I want to select the content of a line on the traveler - not the physical line itself.

Current situation: when I press the "Movie" button after a hand and select a line on the traveler, the line I click becomes the "selection". However as more boards appear in the traveler the selection does not move as my content line moves. It turns out that the physical line that I selected becomes the selection.

Does anyone else experience this? Comments about my requested change?
