I host a fair number of team matches and there are a couple of bugs I think. First, you always get an error when trying to invite a sub from the substitue list, even when they want to play. You must type in the names directly into the edit table list. Also, if you forgot to turn on or off the barometer, you can try to edit the tournament after you start, but it doesnt work. BBO is great--thanks as always to Fred, Sheri, Uday and the rest for all their effort.

Not being able to change the conditions of contest after the contest has started is not a bug, it is a feature.

I wonder if you are working the sublist correctly? To do the automated sub....

Click Show subs...
Find the missing player's name, click on that.. the first guy in the list will be invited to sub for him...

Or, click on one (or more_ of the waiting subs, and then click ok.. they should be invited to replace any missing player.

I suspect you are clicking the substitute now button instead. use that only if you type in the names of the missing player and the replacement player on the name lines.

Thanks Ben--I think i was clicking on the wrong substitute button. I do think you should be able to change the barometer on/off feature and maybe the kibitz partner feature even after the first hand is dealt, as sometimes I just forget or do it wrong.

I welcomed it too, if there would be the possibility to change the off/on feature for the barometer in the team matches, may be only inbetween the first played hand as I have unfortunately forgotten it few times either.
