Hi all

I'm using the Samsung Galaxy S4 as a phone, and I've been thinking about getting a tablet. Is it worth it? Do tablets do anything that phones don't do?

They are significantly better at "being larger". Of course, they are significantly worse at "being smaller".

They have a bit more grunt as well, but yeah that's the crux of it. I use mine to read and watch videos in bed, which my iphone can do, but not do well. If you have that giant sized galaxy note thing though, the use case is a bit less clear cut.

The downside with them is I tend to lie on my back and hold it over my head, then I doze off and drop it on my face, which has a stimulating effect.

I have a Windows 8 one (Lenovo Miix 10). Its main use for me is for travelling since its battery lasts much longer than laptops and it takes up less room.
... and I can prove it with my usual, flawless logic.

I got mine to read journal articles (boring, I know) when away from my desk, so the 10-inch version serves that purpose well. I've heard that the 7-inch size is the optimal combination of screen real estate and portability for most people. But if your phone is meeting your needs then you don't really need a tablet.
