I know, I know, many of you wouldn't be in this position but here we are.

3 for me, then 4 over 3nt or 4. Pass 4. Going slamming if partner's rebid is 4 or higher, of course.

"I suggest a chapter on "strongest dummy opposite my free bids." For example, someone might wonder how I once put this hand down as dummy in a spade contract: AQ10xxx void AKQxx KQ. Did I start with Michaels? Did I cuebid until partner was forced to pick one of my suits? No, I was just playing with Brian (6S made when the trump king dropped singleton)." David Wright

I'm bidding 3 like Brian. Over 3N, I'm continuing with 4.

I have a spade void and RHO wasn't able to raise the opening.

Partner almost assuredly has a balanced hand, a spade stack, and is too strong for a NT overcall.
There's probably going to be some wasted values in spades.

I'm going to bid a prosaic 6
I'll apologize if we have a grand.

I'd be more worried about Axxx, KQJx, A, KQxx where playing in the right suit is important.

Can't really help more as no way can I have a hand that good and not have opened.

MPs: 3; IMPs: 4

I wouldn't depend on the opponents' bidding at a Tuesday regional pairs.

If you bid 3, partner bids 4 and 4 over 4

So I was supposed to bid 6C, which rolls in style, and 6D is going down? I've seen this hand before...Posted Image

Over 4, I want a table read of the opponents, maybe including a quick perusal of the convention card to get a sense of sophistication level. Does East look like someone who might not make a spade raise he or she should be making?

If yes, we are ahead of the everyone else based on that, and I take the sure plus and pass.

If no, it depends on the state of the game. I bid 4 if I'm swinging and pass if I'm willing to take 40% on one board to avoid a 0.

4 seems pretty clear now (or 4NT to show a spade cue if playing your beloved kickback).
