On auctions that start:
(1c)-p-(1s)-p;
(2s)-x
or
(1c)-p-(1s)-p;
(2s)-p-(p)-x,
GIB seems to define the double as "4+D, 4+H, 5- sp, 5- cl", and never seems to want to play in clubs as partner of the doubler; it thinks the double shows unbid suits only.
I think the double would be better described as 3-4 d, 3-4 h, 3-5 clubs, 2- spades, as 5 cd suits and red two-suiters probably take different action earlier, often overcalling.
It would also be awesome if GIB figured out how to use scrambling 2nt opposite takeout doubles when opps have bid+raised a major to 2 level, but that may be a pipe dream.
