Never pass, 4♠ is probably enough, I'm not sure whether 2♣ and a spade raise always shows 4 and hence am hesitatant in knowing exactly what 3♠ is.

We've shown about 0-8 with the 1♠ bid, and I reckon we're better than average for that so I'll raise 3♠ to 4♠. Shame that our second suit is clubs.

Me too.
This hand appeared in today's USBF bulletin along with a comment suggesting that 4S was a difficult decision which I did not understand.
