It may sound that way to you but isn't. I mean honestly, we've all been playing these sequences for a while, and we all have our own interpretations of what they are/should be. I was, and am, interested in seeing what other people think; agreeing with someone is not rewarding them, nor is disagreeing with them punishing them in any way. Unless you think I should have just posted the question and then recused myself from further conversation, without making any comments about what I believe to be correct.

It sounded like that you wanted to confirm your opinion and prove your partner wrong. It definitely sounded like opinions which coincided with yours were much more welcome than opinions which didn't. I guess it's fine though and my preferences are idiosyncratic.
... and I can prove it with my usual, flawless logic.
