Well, I'm your pard, so I hope so.
Later I'll give you my hand and tell me if there is something more I can do.

That's nice, what do you pitch on the fifth spade?
edited out random stuff that was vaguely relevant when declarer seemed to have 5 spades

?!
Partner has 6 and dummy has 3 so I'm playing declarer for 4 spades!

As usual signalling is irrelevant on this hand since we have a virtually guaranteed set heh

My bad - but the diagram is pretty clear about partner's spade holding.

Yes - this is the kind of ending that you read about in Love or Kelsey but rarely see at the table.
Pitching a heart is the winning play. As long as pard can beat dummy's 2nd diamond, we have a beat.

Help

Dealer is South
1N - 2♣ (!)
2♠ - 4N
5♠ - 6N
South (a friendly pro) volunteers they don't have any agreements about 4N.
You lead the ♥10, 2, K, 6.
Pard shifts to the ♠5. Declarer wins the A and fires four more spades at you. Pard started with ♠T87542, and pitches the 4 and 7.
Plan your discards. Dummy sheds a diamond on the 4th spade.
