South declares 2 and receives a diamond lead, making 10 tricks.

???

South wins diamond on dummy to lead a club. A diamond is returned and another club played. A third diamond is ruffed by East and overruffed, followed by a club ruff on dummy.

Two top spades cashed, ending in dummy. The fourth diamond is ruffed, Easy ditching a spade. A third spade is played by Declarer, compressing the spade loser into a further-shortened East, who is forced to lead hearts so as to lose the last three tricks.

Kind of cute hand.

Opened up the scorecard.

Of the three other tables so far, East-West declared all three, once in 1NT, once in 1, and once in 2 (?!?!?).
"Gibberish in, gibberish out. A trial judge, three sets of lawyers, and now three appellate judges cannot agree on what this law means. And we ask police officers, prosecutors, defense lawyers, and citizens to enforce or abide by it? The legislature continues to write unreadable statutes. Gibberish should not be enforced as law."
