After N opens 1 and proceeds to show 4=4=1=4 or 4=4=0=5, South ends up in 3N with the spade Q lead. Would you care to play or defend? And why?

I think I'll declare. Looks like I can execute an endplay on east, losing a spade, a diamond and two clubs. I haven't looked too closely, though.
Kind regards,
Harald

I'm betting on defense too. East-West should attack continuously the comunications between NS hands, trying to break a possible - squeeze or an endplay against East. For that West should take first round of clubs and attack hearts. When East would take second round of clubs, he should break the comunication in diamonds. If he is allowed to win, he must continue breaking hearts (if decalrer won first round oh hearts in dummy).

You're clearly a better player than me, so I'll take your word for it.
Kind regards,
