Suppose RHO opens 1 of a suit (sayc).
Suppose you have 4 cards in his suit and
1. 4333
2. 4(432)
Would you ever double for takeout? (You do not have 18+ balanced intending to rebid NT.) You can choose vulnerability and form of scoring to most favour doubling. Please give example hands if you do. Thanks.

Yeah if I had like a strong NT with no stopper and 3334 I would (KQx AQx KQx xxxx). I wouldn't ever with 4432,

Would you double any suit on this hand if your hand was rearranged to make xxxx in opener's suit, including 1♠? Just curious.
Please let me know about any questions or interest or bug reports about GIB.

I would double 1S except all red MP or w/r imps. I would always double 1H.
