I lost my flag, and can't retrieve it anymore. I see many other players lately without a flag and nationality. Is it some bug in version 3.7.0.?

There should be a directory under your bridge base online directory called flags

First make sure it is there. Second, see if all the flags are there (in particular, the one you want). These files are named like usa.bmp, and algeria.bmp

There is also a text file called countries.txt that contains a list of all these bitmaps. At least make sure all these are there.

There is a bug in the latest client that can cause this to happen on new installations. For older ones , that used to work, the loss of flags is usually a side effect of renaming the BBO folder, or of copying the bbo software to a new location. If you have done this, a reinstallation will take care of the problem.

You can reinstall from www.bridgebase.com/online

Thanks Uday. The reinstall worked. My flag is back and I can see the nationality and flags of other players again too.
