Hey there, I am already at Bejing, trying to prepare for the competition, I hopefully will finally meet some forum regulars there.
The rooms are just fantastic, I just have to cross the street and be at the byrd's nest.

If you have any free time in Beijing, I strongly recommend the Li family restaurant... I ate there about 10 years ago, and it still ranks as one of my best dining experiences ever (and this is coming from a serious foodie)...

Thanks for the info richard, but I see everything in chinese there, heck, I can hardly open a new window with this computer with the menus unreadable, and not have much time for my connection.
tomorrow its the opening ceremony!, and I see open and youth ceremonies are held at different places, doh, I am suposed to be at 2 different places at the same time
