3. 2nd choice is 2NT. I don't think the shape and poor heart intermediates warrant a double and pull.

edit: this is MPs so I am not about to play in 3m here

3H. All of these calls could be right with this shape but the honor location makes me rank 3H > Dbl >> 2NT.
Please note: I am interested in boring, bog standard, 2/1.

3. You have a good hand. 3 shows a good hand. For once, you have your bid.

3. I predict: partner will check with his yucky six-count, and due to your RHO implying 10 HCP in the first three tricks, you scrape it home +140.

Double. If pard bids a minor I am easily worth 3 due to leb since we have game strength. If he bids 2NT then we don't have game strength so I will have to play in whatever minor he picks, which could of course be worse than hearts but could be better too, and it's not at all clear which is more likely. I hate this suit for 3, partner might raise on a doubleton.
Please let me know about any questions or interest or bug reports about GIB.

I like double. Might miss game opp some 2N bids but I want the option to get out in 3 of a minor/defend 2S X/find 5/6 of a minor more easily.

I would double. Hesitated with 3 (don't like 2NT with this hand), but I fear 3 will too often be the contract if I bid it now. Sometimes we're better in a 3m contract.
