I believe dbl is ask for lead and happy i was dealed one and led it.but
partner is AJxx J AKT9XX XX opps.they made it.
partner: I didnt dbl 3S so dbl 3nt is ask for other lead
I: why u have to dbl 3S when all u have just spades?and 3s look like forcing,dbl
a focing bid for penalty is not wise.IMO u should dbl 3S and continue dbl 3nt then i would know u have a good hand not only spades then maybe i would try to find your suit.

I think your partner has a pretty good argument here - if his spades are not robust enough to penalize 3S then how can they be so good that a spade lead will defeat 3N? But then what do I know - I would have taken the double as meaning it is safe to lead hearts.

a double there should mean something, and i've always played it as asking for dummy's first bid suit... i don't know why 3s wasn't doubled, but i'm still leading a spade... if he wants another lead, don't double (unless he's so strong that it doesn't matter what you lead)
