While there are attempts to build standard BBO adv / 2/1 / prec CC, I wonder if it would benefit the general. Most players have their own basic system and may not need a full CC. For pickup partnership, I wonder if one would adhere to the CC firmly. SAYC, and a SAYC CC has been there for long and yet everyone has his/her own SAYC.

I would rather suggest more conventions built in FD format e.g. DONT/CAPP/LEB/Checkback/NMF/INVM/etc.

There are some already in the Bridge Base Online directory and they fit into the CC prepared nicely. I hope to see more conventions which could be used and fit to ones own CC.

Another question - If one would like to employ DONT against Strong NT only, would FD be smart enough to do that? I dont think it is high priority though.





PS Just note that dealing with diff range NT opening has been raised before.
